This course combines L0146 Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) curriculum with the practical reinforcement of CA-017- PREV Enhanced Exercise Design, Conduct, and Evaluation (EEDCE). HSEEP doctrine is flexible, adaptable, for use by stakeholders throughout the whole community and is applicable for exercises across all mission areas - prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.
Upon completion of this course, participants will gain a better understanding of what constitutes an HSEEP consistent exercise. The course will also explain the exercise program manager's role in managing program resources.
The L0146 HSEEP / EEDCE course follows a format that includes: classroom lecture, small-group activities, and a pre- and post-knowledge check to determine participant's knowledge learned during this course. Small-group activities reinforce the concepts taught during lectures.
